Partial Lunar Eclipse on June 26, 2010
For the people of the Western region of United States it is time to get up early as they are in for a spectacle in the sky. The partial lunar eclipse will start at 2:17 Am and go on for as long as 80 min or 1 hour 20 min before dying out at around 5:38 AM. A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth is in a direct line between the sun and the moon, and the shadow of the earth falls on the moon a phenomenon that can be explained by even a naïve in the field of science.
